WELDER FABRICATOR
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm (Full-Time)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Pay: $27-$32/hr, Based on experience. Overtime available.

Blue United Sourcing is proud to partner with a leading work-truck upfitter specializing in fleet customization and equipment installations to hire a Welder Fabricator for their growing Arizona operation. The Phoenix-based speciality shop offers comprehensive fleet customization for customer needs— including installation of service bodies, flatbeds, trailers, specialty equipment, lighting, and more. With local manufacturing and a reputation for durable, custom-built products backed by a team of expert craftsmen, our client has been serving contractors, utility companies, government agencies and small businesses throughout Arizona and Nevada for over 30 years.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Welder to join the Fabrication Department! In this role, you will perform customized MIG welding and steel fabrication on things such as flatbeds, ladder racks, landscape dump bodies, and other components of work trucks. You’ll use a range of welding techniques, along with hand and power tools, to assemble and fabricate parts in a fast paced, safety-focused environment. You will get to create unique, custom-builds from start-to-finish by taking a blueprint and turning it into a functional work of art!
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately follow blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions
MIG weld various equipment and components
Use hand and power tools to assemble, fit, and mount parts on trucks and trailers
Maintain an organized, hazard-free work area
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors on-site
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in MIG welding and fabrication of carbon steel
An eye for execution. Able to interpret installation diagrams and instructions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Experience with various hand and power tools. You must own the basic tools required for this position. A list will be provided.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to withstand a physically demanding environment. You will be welding from all positions, at times in extreme heat. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
